Just a quick note to say a HUGE thank you to Allen in Service for his assistance this past weekend. On Friday, during my morning commute, my 2006 Street Bob started to misfire and the Check Engine light came on. After letting the bike cool, I was able to start it and ride it to work without further incident. Since I had just refueled that morning, I suspected I had a sediment clog in an injector or the fuel line, that had cleared itself. On the ride home, the same thing happened. I was able to "nurse" the bike to Van Nuys HD, where Allen did a quick inspection. He was able to get the bike repaired (It turned out being worn injector wiring, plus I also was due for a new front tire) and returned to me on Saturday. Plus, he alerted me to the Extended Warranty and Factory Recall status on my bike. Allen was ABSOLUTELY thorough, knowledgeable, reassuring and genuinely personable in a time of uncertainty with the condition of my bike. Here is the REALLY cool thing: He could have turned me away, because this was your last weekend in Van Nuys (I was the last service customer at Van Nuys!) So, I believe this is a perfect testimony to your commitment to your customers and the competence of your staff in your time at Van Nuys, that will obviously carry over to Santa Clarita!
